I believe it's a burn from ironing and hair spray when I had longer hair. Over time it started gaining a darker color.

Answer: Combination bleaching cream This needs to be evaluated in person and it could be treated with a combination of tretinoin hydroquinone and a steroid cream.This will gradually lighten the area. If resistant the q switched yag laser can lighten localized darkness.
