How can I get rid of a scar left from a boil?

I had a boil on my cheek right next to my mouth. And now it left a crease or dent in it. The right side of my face is smooth and the left side has the crease. I would add a picture but it's not really noticeable from pictures.

What is the best cream to remove scars caused by an ingrown hair?
