Answer: Sclerotherapy for veins on the bridge of the nose Sclerotherapy can be done in this area and I recommend a smaller dose with repeat injections. Alternatively, if it is large enough (picture needed to determine or physical exam to confirm), it may be best to do a microphlebectomy or RF ablation.

Answer: Se Sclerotherapy can be done safely for facial veins depending on the size of the veins and their location and the experience of the physician doing the injections. Smaller veins can be treated by sclerotherapy, laser, IPL, VeinWave, VeinGogh and microneedle radio frequency. Larger veins may be better treated by small incision removal (microphlebectomy). Central forehead veins are sometimes treated best by removal. Speak with you doctor about the options and possible side effects associated with each option.

Answer: Sclerotherapy to the face I don't think you have a varicose vein on your face...? That would be a very large, puffy, discolored vein. There are often small reticular veins on the nose and under the eyes. Depending on skin color these veins can show more. They can absolutely be effectively treated with sclerotherapy and it is very safe, assuming you are seeing a good physician injector. There are some people who caution against sclerotherapy for the face but when the injecting solution is diluted more, there is nothing better. I have done it for nearly 30 years. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion.
