I think that a closed rhinoplasty to remove the small hump would provide a nice improvement for you.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Conservative rhinoplasty to file bump on nose. Fillers will only make your overall nose seem larger so I would avoid those. The cost is only a few thousand dollars if done under local anesthesia .
After reviewing your photos, there are two options for you: 1. a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, which entails injecting dermal fillers into the nose, ultimately "masking" the appearance of the hump. This usually costs $1500-$3000, depending on the type and amount of filler used. 2. A surgical rhinoplasty, which is a permanent solution to your concern, for which the range varies by region and expertise. I recommend you seek out a Board-Certified plastic surgeon who performs surgical AND nonsurgical rhinoplasty who will accurately assess your nose, create a simulation based on what your nose COULD look like, and formulate a plan tailored to your wishes. Good luck!
A simple rhinoplasty with fix your bump. Seek out a true rhinoplasty expert in your area. All the Best.
Thank you for the photos and question which can be best answered after a fullexamination so goon some consults with experts in your areaDr Corbin
Dear gunther18, Consultation with a rhinoplasty expert will help answer all of your questions. Most consultations are complimentary so this will allow you the option of no expenses while doing your interviewing for a potential surgeon. Digital imaging can be done at the time of consultation which will allow you to see the proposed surgical results. When the results are decided upon then your surgeon will discuss exactly what needs to be done to attain those results and then quote you a surgical fee. Surgery is the best option to reduce the dorsal hump. I would not consider using fillers to camouflage the bump. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
Please share this answer with your parents if you are under 18 years of age. The nose does appear to have a slight dorsal hump that can be reduced with a Rhinoplasty. While not mentioned, the tip is a bit wide and could be refined at the same time. Hope this helps. Prices vary by Rhinoplasty Surgeon and according to experience and reputation. Somewhere between $7,500 - $10,000 is a ballpark range.
For a permanent solution, a minor conservative Rhinoplasty could be the answer. Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for an exam, and to discuss your options. Best wishes!
Removing the nasal bump would require a rhinoplasty. However, it looks like you need other parts of the nose, such as the tip, worked on as well. You should go on a few consults with surgeons in your area known fir their rhinoplasty work to determine which option would work best for...
There is a very small risk of infection with rhinoplasty surgery, as there is with any surgical procedure. The risk is elevated if implants are placed during the proceure. Careful adherence to sterile processes, which is observed in all operating facilities, helps keep the risk as small as it is...
Thank you for your question. This is commonly asked, and unfortunately, a lot of misinformation exist.First off, the terminology is incorrectly used by many surgeons. The best way to talk about these approaches is endonasal ("closed") versus external ("open"). The term 'closed'...
