Can lower eyelids be 'tightened up' & sit higher/close properly, with less scleral show? (Photo)

It is possible to perform lower eyelid retraction surgery but it is a complex procedure and need more detailed evaluation and discussion to determine if it should be done.

You have a mild scleral show with a mild laxity on lower eyelids. This condition can be improved by a lateral canthoplasty operation, where the lower eyelid sling system is taken up surgically. Lateral canthal tendon is replaced to its higher new place and the lower laxity and scleral show is corrected. Your photo reveals that you can be a candidate for this operation.
