I wanted wider hips to fill in the straight slanted parts and was hoping for a more noticeable butt that pops out at the top part aka shelf butt, but I’m more natural, which is alright I guess, but I’d definitely wanna go one more round if I even have any fat for that. Do you guys think I’ve shrunk enough or will I continue to lose my butt and hips? I really wish I had more hips, am I being greedy?

Answer: 18 days post op, will I shrink any further? Thank you for your question. After surgery there is a predictable swelling process that mostly resolves over two months, when the final result really settles in. Around 70% of fat that is grafted is typically expected to survive long term. We also put a little extra to account for loss of fat post operative, which is reabsorbed gradually by the body.

Answer: 18 days post op, will I shrink any further? Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. After a BBL, only about 70% of the transferred fat cells will survive, so it is normal to see a minor reduction in your buttocks. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. If you have any concerns, I suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)
