Russian lip technique?

Question

I've been seeing this new lip filler technique flood social media and want to know if it's come to the DFW area yet? It looks sooo much better than the normal technique I'm use to seeing. I've read lots about it and how the technique diffs from the regular lip filler technique and am super interested in getting it done! If any docs in the dfw area are doing this please let me know!

I don't consider this a unique technique and there are many injectors I know that utilize the "Russian lip technique". I'm sure there is someone in the DFW area who does beautiful work. See a boasrd-certified Facial Plastic or Plastic Surgeon for a consultation. Please note it is never the technique itself that leads to a given result but rather the surgeon doing it.

this look really unnatural for many clients, I do this frequently in my practice but only for those who are good candidates. I suggest you find an expert. I have personally been exclusively performing the so-called "Russian Lip Filler" technique for well over a half dozen years having learned it abroad and having found it superior to the conventional filler techniques that all too often result in unsightly and unnatural-looking "sausage" or "duck" lips. Unlike what you may have seen on YouTube videos, where the procedure may cause visible discomfort, a couple of microdroplets of local anesthesia appropriately placed can makes the procedure virtually painless.  I unfortunately, do not know of anyone in your area who routinely performs it. Sorry.

I typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns.
I would recommend finding a plastic surgeon to perform you lip injections. Most of my patients have results that last at least 6 months.
