Can I take Dandelion Root capsules to stave off extra water retention (long term) with a TT?

I am having my Tummy Tuck on the 11th of September, 2017. I am very excited! My question is this: can I take Dandelion Root capsules to stave off extra water retention (long term)? And of course I know I will have to urinate more often so I may not even like this but I am on 400 mg Gabapentin which, as you know causes water retention. Thank you!!!!!!

Your symptoms do not sound normal 3 years after a tummy tuck. You are best to be seen in person to be properly evaluated.

It is very normal for you to see swelling in this area after body contouring and tummy tuck.  Don't let it frighten you too much.  It WILL go away.  Congrats on your new body!

You have a few aresa of necrosis but theyu look small and should heal with wound care. I like 1 part white vinegar to 8 parts water, as a soak 3x per day on gauze. Check with your doctor frequently.Best, Dr Mandraccia, Ft Myers, Fl
