Awesome experience!! Upper bleph done under a local. 6 days post op and I love it. Everyone at the office was professional and kind. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome! Love Dr Deuber and the entire staff!
I am very pleased with the results of my procedure. The entire office staff from the receptionist to the doctor all made me feel very welcome and I couldn’t be happier with the decision to go to Dr. Deuber. I would highly recommend this practice.
If you're interested in getting natural, beautiful results with a very manageable recovery, you should definitely go see Dr. Deuber and his team at Lemmon Ave. Plastic Surgery & Laser. Dr. Deuber specializes in 24 hour recovery breast augmentation, and wow, it really is a crazy short recovery period. I never took any heavy-duty painkillers (ibuprofen and Tylenol only), and I was able to get up and go out for dinner and a walk the same day of surgery. I'm 12 days out now, and my breasts are already feeling soft and starting to drop-- and I have no pain at all. I was an out of town patient, so I flew in to Dallas on a Thursday, had my in-person consultation with Dr. Deuber and Terrye Tebbetts (his fantastic patient coordinator) that afternoon, and was in the office the next morning for my surgery! I was back at the hotel and resting by noon. I was surprised how easy it was to travel for my surgery, and everything went seamlessly. The only thing to keep in mind is that the 24 hour recovery procedure means you have to be realistic with what will fit in your body. Dr. Deuber is not going to give you anything that he cannot comfortably fit in your natural breast pocket. He and Terrye work with you to decide on the best shape, size, and position that will comfortably fit your frame. I spent a lot of time speaking with Terrye on the phone discussing what I was hoping to achieve with this surgery, and it took a while to realize that my original goals weren't reasonable. We were able to work together to find a size that would give me a beautiful hourglass figure, and I'm extremely happy with my results. Dr. Deuber and his team are truly the best. My only regret is that I didn't get this done earlier!
My consultation with Dr. Deuber for BA was fun, and informative. His staff was friendly, and lighthearted. Both my husband and I felt so comfortable that we even decided to have his tattoo removal done with his staff as well. As time went on, I felt very uninformed. I thought that perhaps his short attitude was due to confidence, and decided to proceed with the surgery. I was really drawn to the "24 hour" recovery because I do not take narcotic pain medication. It seemed like the best fit for me. Just a few days after surgery I noticed that I was having trouble lowering my arms all the way to my sides. I asked, and was told this would work itself out, and to keep up my exercises. After enough healing I asked what kind of bra to wear and was told "any bra you want". After a couple of months, my uplands has already started bottoming out. I didn't realize this is what was happening at that time. 6 months later my implants completely slipped to the side when I laid on my back. Still, I didn't realize what was going on. I was not informed that this was wrong. I didn't like it, but I thought it was "normal". Now, a year later, my implants are completely bottomed out, slipping out of pocket. Once bottoming out happens, it only gets worse, and you have to get a revision. One implant is laterally displaced. They are HORRIBLE. I'm going to another surgeon, to get a revision, and will have to take pain medication as the revision surgery will entail more. I emailed Dr. Deuber office, thinking maybe I would risk getting my revision done with him, only to have my email ignored. Updated on 24 Jul 2024: My Breast augmentation years ago was my 1st cosmetic surgery and my expectations were strongly disproportioned, not the boobs! I was correct in my previous perceptions that Dr. Duber was an amazing confident doctor, speaking from experience now. To add to this, my augmentation is now 4-5 years old, 70 pounds gained and lost from pregnancy, and breastfeeding to top it off. They look damn good and noticing that has brought me back here to correct my review. If this augmentation can look this great several years later with weight gain and loss over 70 pounds AND breastfeeding, I would say that Dr. Duber deserves to be confident. Apologies for my ignorance, but you don't know what you don't know so here I am to correct my mistake.
Easiest surgery, no hard decision-making. He truly fits you into what would be best for your body and look natural. My results look natural just one week post-op. I was never in pain and not one bruise on my body anywhere. Flew in ( by myself) , had my consultation, surgery the next day, the following day had my follow- up and flew out. Managing the airport was extremely easy. ( I brought a medium weight backpack) Amazing team- Terrye, the patient coordinator is outstanding and very knowledgeable, Stephanie, the receptionist is so kind, sweet, and prompt in responding to me. Jim , The nurse anesthetist made my process of getting anesthesia so easy. I never even felt my IV go in and I never got nervous like I do in these kinds of situations. Rebecca, my nurse, was awesome . And finally, Dr. Deuber knows what he is doing. He is very knowledgeable and studied under John Tebbetts, who first started the techniques used for a 24 hour recovery. Dr. Deuber has an eye for aesthetics and I am so happy with my results so far. Updated on 11 Aug 2020: Updated on 28 Aug 2020: 400 CCHP Updated on 11 Oct 2020: They completely feel like my own breasts because I cannot feel or detect the implant anywhere- to the touch or through regular daily activities. Results are very natural. I am very pleased with Dr. Deuber’s work. Updated on 25 May 2024: Had the procedure done Aug 2020. September 2022, I noticed my right side had hardened up almost overnight. My doctor sent me to have MRI imaging done, which indicated a high likelihood of rupture. I contacted Dr. Deuber's office staff and instead of guided through Mentor's implant warranty, I was quoted a brand new price to redo the entire surgery about $1k more than my original procedure. I really hoped for more guidance and care from the office of this surgeon, as it is extremely upsetting that my implant is completely ruined on one side. It is now almost 2 years later and I have yet to resolve this issue. My breasts are very asymmetrical and I really wish I could find the right surgeon to help navigate this process.
Arrived in Dallas on Thursday at 12pm. Had a consultation that same day and surgery Friday at 8am. Ended up getting 300cc. Currently sitting in my room 8 hours post op, I feel pressure but it gets better and better. Just got a call from the office wondering how I was and honestly, that's a very nice thing of them to do, shows they care :) I'll keep updating some more Updated on 7 Oct 2019: Been feeling pretty good, can raise my arms without pain. Usually feel better in the morning, last night I was very VERY bloated and with pain around my ribs. This morning I feel much better but my boobs itch, we’ll see how the rest of the day goes :) Updated on 10 Oct 2019: I notice them less, they hurt a bit less. I’m driving to school and going to classes normally:) My incisions are itchy, I hope that’s normal ???? I also don’t see much difference in the shape, can’t wait for them to drop and “fluff” Updated on 10 Oct 2019: So it can be more useful, here are my stats: 5’6’’ 123lbs 25 years Old No kids Got mentor 300cc (both breast) partially under the muscle, not sure about the profile but I should be getting the information in the mal really soon :) Updated on 13 Oct 2019: Got my ID cards for my implants, moderate plus profile, Mentor, 300cc. I barely notice them except at night when they hurt a bit and get hard. Excited to take my bandaids off and start with some lite cardio!!! Updated on 19 Oct 2019: Feeling better and better. Have had some terrible headaches though not sure why took my tape off yesterday and still have some stitches that should dissolve pretty soon :) I’m cleared to go back to the gym ( just for cardio) I can sleep in my side fully comfortably:) Updated on 14 Nov 2019: Still daily headaches (from the moment I wake up) nothing wrong according to lab work about to get a sleep study and an MRI. Any ideas?? Went to VS, ended up a 34D Updated on 26 Jan 2020: They’re looking alright, the scars are not exactly on the fold which bugs me but it’s not a huge deal. I can’t really do chest workouts at the gym anymore which is a bummer. My husband likes the boobs tho, although I wish I had gone a little smaller. Updated on 17 Apr 2020: Updated on 6 Aug 2020: Everything is going ok. I do have issues working out chest at the gym but oh well... I still wish I was smaller, like a C instead of a D even though everyone thinks I look ok lol One of my nipple is CLEARLY higher than the other but looking at my pre-op photos I was already like that but now that they’re bigger is more obvious. Updated on 13 Nov 2020: Probably at the end of my healing journey. I like them, my husband likes them :P the only thing that bothers me is that the scars are not on the fold but oh well. I have never put any scar cream on them so maybe they’d look better if I had but I just don’t care enough. Message me if you have any questions! I’ll probably won’t update in a while :) Updated on 20 Mar 2021: Sadly, I believe I’m developing capsular contracture on my left breast. Posting side by side of back in November vs now. Its not super noticeable but I can definitely feel the change in softness and shape. Not sure how to proceed
I decided at the age of 62 that maybe I still had a chance to realize my life-long dream of having real-woman breasts – something bigger than an A-cup. My husband was fully understanding (if not encouraging) so we both proceeded to research the matter. Turns out age is not a limiting factor provided you are mostly healthy. I stress “mostly” because most women my age will have some health-related issued – cholesterol, blood pressure, you name it. Since both I and my doctor agreed that I could easily withstand 30 minutes of anesthesia then, with a doctor’s note, I was good to go. A little more research and we both landed on Dr Tibbets which led us to Dr Duebert. Although Dr Duebert charges a tad more than the going rate this was something I needed done right the first time so off I went to the consultation and shortly thereafter the surgery. The only comment I will make about the breast implant surgery and the recovery is that it was exactly as described by many before me. Fast forward 18 months and I am thrilled with my new breasts. Many would think this was a silly waste or time and money at my age, but I can honestly say it has been one of the better decisions I have made. My self image and confidence have skyrocketed. My new body prompted me to lose those last 10 pounds, start wearing makeup, get a new hair doo, and completely update my wardrobe. It has all been a blast. It is never too late to feel good about yourself.
Dr. Deuber is a Master Artist. The staff is superb as are the facilities. I have had both breast and facial procedures with beautiful results. If I could give a higher rating, it would be a perfect 10! A heartfelt thanks to everyone there!
I’m so happy with my results from Dr. Deuber! I had an implant removal/reduction and lift done. After having tons of problems with my previous surgeon and scarring, I was very nervous about undergoing another surgery. After mtg with several doctors in the San Antonio and Austin areas and not feeling confident, I decided to make the drive to Dr. Deuber in Dallas. It was the best decision I could have made. From my initial consult with Terrye and Dr. Deuber, I felt completely informed and at ease with the procedure. Surgery was a breeze, and I drove home less than 24 hours later and never needed more than ibuprofen for pain! I just had my one month follow up, and truly could not be happier. The scars are healing nicely, and the shape and feel of my breasts are so natural. Making the drive to Dallas for Dr. Deuber was definitely a great decision for me.
Amazing experience and doctor. Staff was great and super welcoming. The procedure was smooth and easy. Very pleased with my results. I would highly recommend Dr. Deuber to friends and family. Five stars!
Thanks for your question. Everyone's breast look different, and most patients have asymmetries between their breasts. Some breasts are smaller, some are larger, some have higher nipples, some lower, some droop, some have short lower poles, some sit higher on the chest, some lower, some are more wide spaced and some point more to the outside. Based on your photos, your breasts are perfectly normal and youthful appearing. If you were ever to consider any type of enhancement procedure, you would be an excellent candidate for an augmentation; a properly selected and sized implant would offer a degree of upper pole fill that I think you would be very happy with.
Thanks for your question; based on your photos and history of two pregnancies with breast feeding and the resulting changes to your body, you are an excellent candidate for breast enhancement surgery and lower body contouring with a tummy tuck and targeted liposuction; however, at only twenty two years of age, I would definitely ask you to seriously consider whether you are finished having children. While pregnancy is certainly possible after tummy tuck, the post party appearance of your abdomen after a term pregnancy subsequent to a tummy tuck would almost certainly be worse than it is now. You would likely develop significant and severe stretch marks even if you don't have them now. Now, if you have undergone a tubal ligation and there is effectively no chance of future pregnancy, I think you could go ahead with your plans whenever you want.
Thanks for your question; based on your images, overall I think your result is good. There is a noticeable upper abdominal bulge which I believe you are referring to as a "knot". Sometimes this bulge is inevitable due to the shape of a patients abdomen, posture and rib cage; sometimes it can result from inadequate plication (stitching back together of stretch abdominal muscles - diastasic); sometimes it can be due to a chronic seroma or fluid pocket under the skin. If this is suspected (which I think may be your issue), it can be evaluated with an imaging study like an ultrasound, and, if present, can be aspirated. Many surgeons now perform brainless tummy tuck where a series a quilting sutures are used to close off the abdominal "dead space" between the skin flap and the muscles. Seroma may actually be less common when the surgery is performed this way.
Thanks for you question. Given your loose skin after multiple significant weight losses; you are likely a candidate for a lower body lift and possibly a medial thigh lift (with or without some thigh liposuction). Will this will improve your shape and body contour, it will not change the quality of thin or stretched out skin with lost elasticity. It will also not make the appearance of cellulite better. Still, I believe you would experience a significant improvement. You should consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon who can show you multiple before and after images of results in similar patients so that you can have a realistic expectation of the improvement you will achieve.
Thanks for your question; while it would technically be possible to perform tummy tuck under epidural anesthesia, I don't believe most plastic surgeons would think this is a good idea. There really isn't any safety advantage; more importantly, the surgery could actually be more difficult, as the level of the epidural may not be entirely predictable (or high enough), such that there wouldn't be adequate anesthesia to properly perform the surgery. If the level were too high, there could be respiratory compromise, making the surgery less safe. In general, you should choose an experienced board certified plastic surgeon to perform your surgery, and let them do there job to the best of their ability in the best way possible.
