I am 10 weeks post op and my left breast is significantly smaller and higher. Is this side going to drop on its own or should I be thinking about getting a revision. I still get muscle spasms in my leaft breast and the left pocket also looks and feels smaller than the right.
Answer: 10 weeks post op Hello,It is not uncommon for the breast to heal/settle at slightly different rates- especially if there were some slight volume differences or fold asymmetry prior to surgery. I recommend that you share your concerns with your Plastic Surgeon. Try to wait at least a few more months before evaluating results. All the best

Answer: Breast Implants / Breast Augmentation/ Cohesive Gel Implants / Silicone Implants / Revision Breast Surgery I appreciate your question. Right now, you are early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you at this time. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Answer: 10 weeks post op and one breast higher than the other. Any suggestions? Please check your preop photographs. My suspicion is that the right breast was larger and lower before surgery. Asymmetry occurs in all breast augmentations. However if you want to significantly improve your asymmetry you may need a small lift on the larger lower breast and a larger implant on the smaller breast. to learn more about breast asymmetry please see the following link:

Answer: 10 weeks post op Breast Augmentation Thank you for your question and photo.Truthfully, it's very soon after surgery to be concerned with thinking about a revision. Your results look great this soon . It will take time for your skin to stretch out, accomodating the pockets and implants, and for everything to settle. They will look high, tight and shiny for a while as you heal. Also it is important to note that the breasts will not heal at the same time. Talk with your plastic surgeon about your concerns; they will likely reassure you and say it's still fairly early post surgery to worry about a second surgery. Best of luck in your continued healing!
