How can I treat acne scars with micro droplets of silicone—Alcon Silikon 1000? I saw a plastic surgeon, he stated he can correct my scarring using a filler similar to Restylane and Juvederm. I did 4 treatments, never saw any results from it other than permanent discoloration and permanent small bumps. I’ve been told not to use Laser because it can burn my skin and/or cause the silicone to heat up and reshape and come out of my face like a hard rock. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. Everyone has a unique pattern of scarring and we employ our HIDEF technique to improve texture, color, contour, and topography. Answer: Facial scars; multiple types; Englewood Cliffs, NJ In my opinion, you have multiple types of scars. Each scar type is treated differently. For your saucer shaped scars,subscision with PRP and Microneedle Radio frequency is suggested. For your pits and ice picks scars, TCA cross. Superficial boxcars do well with Fractionated CO2 and Microneedle Radio frequency. Multiple sessions are needed. Reassessment of the plan after each procedure is suggested. Find a scar expert.
