Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce hyperpigmentation, and improve the visibility of the scars so that they are no longer visible in ambient light. In my opinion, you have multiple types of scars. Each scar type is treated differently. For your saucer shaped scars,subscision with PRP and Microneedle Radio frequency is suggested. For your pits and ice picks scars, TCA cross. Superficial boxcars do well with Fractionated CO2 and Microneedle Radio frequency. Multiple sessions are needed. Reassessment of the plan after each procedure is suggested. Find a scar expert.
