There is no limit on the number of IPL treatments that you can have. We call these treatments "photofacials." Usually we space them out about once a month. Studies have shown that patients who do regular photofacials will delay the signs of skin aging and will maintain more youthful skin. Sometimes it is necessary to delay photofacials in the summer if a patient has a tan. We don't use IPL on tanned skin. Overall photofacials are one of our most popular and successful treatments with little downtime.
