I am a FTM transgender and my nipples are sore what does this mean?

I have been on T for 7 months now and I have size D breasts. In the past two weeks my nipples have become sore not all the time just sometimes and I don't know if its from the T or if its from the fact that I got my nipples piered and only had them in for on day then took them out. Please help
