I also wanted to reduce the size of my areolas since I have big ones and I have no symmetry. I don't want a big visible scar due to the fact that I scar with keloids . What lift would be the right one for me ? Please help ! Any feedback is HIGHLY appreciated. 28, 5'5", 160 lbs, 1 child.
Answer: Vertical breast lift
Dear Elmeris16,
Thank you for the question and the photo. It appears that you may benefit from a vertical breast lift where the scar around the Areola will reduce the size and the vertical scar will improve the shape of your breasts.
Scars tend to heal nicely in those areas.
Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has experience with vertical breast lifts in your area.
Best of Luck....

Answer: I Am Currently a 36DD or DDD Depending on the Bra.I Want a Breast Lift. Can I Achieve a Full Perky Look W/o Implants?
You can definitely achieve a fuller, lifted look with a breast lift, but this will require incisions to remove skin. You do not need implants. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of breast lifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA

Answer: Breast lift possible
A breast lift is possible. But all breast lifts require some degree of scarring. If you don't want scars at all, you may want to reconsider surgery. Please consult with a plastic surgeon.

Answer: Surgery leaves scars
If you don't want scars, don't do surgery. Also with a lift -- the bigger y ou are, the more you will sag later. Mature women rarely have perky breasts, unless they are implants and the implants are too high. I doubt you need implants.

A vertical lift on the smaller breast should be satisfactory, but an anchor pattern will probably be best for reduction of the larger breast. As to the question of keloids, a face to face discussion with a plastic surgeon will be best.
Thanks, and good luck.
