I will land in Colombia 48 hours before surgery, they suggested being there 72 hrs before due to altitude. Is that a problem?

I’m flying to get lipo to Colombia and they said I must wait 72 hours before surgery because of Altitud. But my flight was delayed and I will be only 48 hours before surgery. Is there a problem with that ?
