Can you see the horizontal scar when wearing a bathing suit when having breast taken out and a lift?

You may not have a horizontal scar with your lift depending on the type that you are having. Typically the scar is hidden in the breast fold which normally is covered by a bathing suit. Over time this scar should fade and heal so that even if your swim suit moves the scar should be unobtrusive.

Yes, your concerns are well-founded and understandable.  Patients can complain of  "inframammary" scars.
