Dear Maria996 Thank you for your questions. This crease is the Mental crease. It is made deeper with the mentalis muscle. There are several ways to soften the crease- with BOTOX, with FILLER, With FAT GRAFT. Your chin projection may be slightly out of balance with your nose - so any procedure should take into account the balance of your facial features. With Warm Regards, Trevor M Born MD
I read your concern and reviewed your photos: You have a deep "labiomental" crease, and frankly this does not appear to be aesthetically unpleasing. You may be a candidate for a well-performed Injectable Filler procedure to lessen the depth of the crease. This needs to be performed by an experienced physician, as horizontal wrinkles and creases may be more prone to bumps than vertical wrinkles and creases, in my experience. In that regard, a conservative treatment with a planned "touch-up" a month later may be best. My personal preference is to use Silikon-1000, an off-label filler for permanent results. Hope this is helpful for you. Dr. Joseph
The crease relates to both the lower incisor positions/angulations; as well as the size of the chin. Therefore, the dental positions have to be assessed and if they are 'ok; you can change the contour of the chin and the bone under the crease to improve it. As well, if you use fillers, it will change 'a little' but not solve the real issue as noted above.

The chin is made of skin, fat, muscle, and bone. While most patients want to augment the chin, some patients need to reduce the size of a prominent chin. Typically, bone shaving is required to reduce chin size. However, some patients can benefit from Botox or similar treatment to relax the chin...
A sliding genioplasty can be reversed though it is not something to be taken lightly. You're still fairly early from your surgery and very likely some of what you're seeing is residual swelling in the area. I would give it time and let the area heal fully before discussing additional...
It is not uncommon to have some swelling from 2 to 3 months after a genioplasty procedure depending upon the amount of work that was done. That being said, the frontal view is not sufficient to determine whether or not it is swelling or actually you are too augmented. I would recommend you...
Hi Kezerian, It depends what has you looking so long in the face. To begin with, you are very beautiful. The procedures that would decrease your forehead length and chin length are quite invasive with risks of complications and deformities. I would make sure that you are...
