Morpheus8 & Vampire facial pain management - can I take a tramadol HCL tablet prior?

Thanks for your inquiry, the answer is it is up to your doctor but in general terms I am not aware of a contraindication of Tramadol and Morpheus 8 treatment.

There are a variety of methods that can be used to prevent pain during a Morpheus8 treatment. I would recommend discussing your concern with the physician who is treating you. It is possible that in addition to the valium you had last time, that a pain medication could be prescribed as well. It is also possible that the entire treatment area could be numbed with local anesthetic prior to the treatment. There are other medications as well that can help and you should not have to deal with intense pain during the procedure.

Hello, Pain control is important for a procedure like Morpheus8. Tramadol could be an option ( we injected to our patients 1 hour before procedure) but is always best to ask the provider that will be doing the procedure what they recommend. In our office we numb the skin with topical anesthesia for one hour and fifteen to twenty minutes, after that if some people still experience pain we use the Pronox (laughing gas) that really helps with pain. The greatest pain is felt at higher settings, maybe lowering the energy could be helpful as well. Hope this helps,
