I went to an experienced injector with a great reputation, she did make a comment that my chin muscles were really strong. I do not know how much she injected into my chin but I paid 800 for my full face. It’s been one week and it is hard to speak without slurring and half of my bottom lip is crooked. The corners of my mouth still move symmetrically, and at rest I look ok. It’s just when I am talking or smiling that it is very noticeable. Please advise.

Answer: Lip droop from botox Unfortunately you will have to wait 3 to 4 months for Botox to wear off Another visit to your provider should be made to avoid this problem in the future

Answer: Botox to chin can cause lip droop Unfortunately, you can't fix this. However, it won't last that long because this area moves a lot. It doesn't last the 3-4 months that Botox does in the upper face. You can try to manually move the area often to help it go away quicker. This has to do with the muscles around the mouth and an off-label injection area. Unfortunately it can happen.
