Simply showing you the implant will not really help you in your decision making process. The process should begin by choosing a few board certified plastic surgeons to meet with and see which plastic surgeon you bond with. From there you can discuss your surgical options and implants options. I generally perform breast measurements on the first visit and discuss the procedure at length, including the incisions, the placement of the implant, the types of implants and so forth. We then dedicate the entire preoperative visit to implant sizing and at that point we go over all the options that are available to you given you body and your body's measurements.Hope that helps.
I would recommend that you schedule an appointment with a plastic surgeon to see which implant size works for you and look at sample implants in the office for the difference in moderate plus and high profile. A picture does not really help you make a decision of which implant you should choose. Good luck! #PlasticSurgery #BreastAug #BreastImplants #Implants #moderateplus #highprofile #choosingimplants
Thank you for your question. A simple search of the internet will allow you to explore the differences between the implants that are available. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
Hi, Eileen Verdusco. Thanks for your question. However, you cannot go by implant volume size. Each patient has different body. Depending on the body (chest height, chest width, existing breast tissue), the same implant size/profile will look very different on different patients. Rather, please select your "wish" look and share that with your plastic surgeon. Have an open communication with your plastic surgeon; see if your plastic surgeon can meet your expectation/desired look.Best regards.
Thank you for the question. You will find lots of examples on the attached link. Keep in mind, that 350 cc breast implants may look very different on you than it does on another person.Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of know words such as “natural” or "small D cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice.3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
Hi and thanks for your question. The best way to see what you would look like with different size implants is to schedule a consultation with an office like ours that uses the Vectra 3D imaging system. This allows us to show you what different size implants look like on your body. Our patients find this to be very helpful when deciding on which size implants to go with. During your consultation you will also try on the implants using a sports bra, and have your measurements taken to help figure out what range of implants would work best for you. Dr J
Hello and thanks for posting. There is much to read about and discuss about different types and shapes of implants. The best thing to do is find a trustworthy and experienced plastic surgeon in your area who can explain these things to you and most importantly, allow you to hold and feel implants of different materials and sizes. Shopping by size alone, or simply looking at pictures of others and choosing what they have is not advisable. The implant size, shape and profile that fits your body will ultimately give you the best result.
The high profile implant will appear more round at the top of the breast. Depending on your desired shape and look, your plastic surgeon will assist with this decision.
A 350 cc implant will look different on each lady. You have to consider how much breast tissue you have as well as the size and shape of your chest. Visit a board certified Plastic Surgeon for an in person exam, and to try on sizers.
Of course you can see what a 350cc implant looks like or you could just put 350ccs of rice in a baggie. But neither of those options will tell you what look the implant would give you. It can be implanted into 5 different women and give 5 different looks depending on their individual anatomy. You will need to see someone and get an exam before any implant size recommendations could be given to you.
Hello. Thank you for your inquiry. It is important to have an in-person assessment regarding your concerns as it is difficult to determine virtually. Exact end results and cup sizes are usually quite difficult to calculate as everyone has a different starting point. There are many different...
Each Plastic Surgeon has their own view point on this and I would suggest you speak with your plastic surgeon. The reason that it is suggested that you stop or have minimal alcohol leading up to your surgery is that if can effect the metabolism (how fast the drugs last) of the anesthesia and...
Hi… this looks like a classic case of a spitting suture in the healing incision. This is the result of one of the absorbable sutures corroding up to the skin surface. It is entirely normal and you can expect no significant complications or problems. I certainly would see your plastic surgeon t...
