So I'm about 3 years post-op and I've had a lot of issues with my implants. First, my surgeon didn't properly explain how to take care of them. I've started to notice a dull pain in my left breast, specifically when I'm laying down. My implant feels as though it's literally popping out of place. The pain is sharper and it feels similar to popping your fingers or moving your hip out of place... I'm concerned and I don't know what to do. I can't afford any revision surgeries. Please help!
Answer: Implant Pain and Popping I would encourage you to schedule a visit with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon immediately to determine the exact source of your discomfort. You will certainly require a clinical examination and may also require additional imaging studies such as an ultrasound, mammogram, and/or MRI. If these indicate a rupture, your surgeon will likely encourage you to proceed with surgery.

Answer: Bad experiences after augmentation I'm sorry to hear of your experience as most are delighted after such procedures. If you can't see your surgeon, find a doctor in your area that provides complimentary consultations and get a second opinion. If you truly cannot afford any kind of revision, then you don't really have any choices except to accept it until something happens that requires another procedure. There have been creative ways to raise funds on-line but I'm not aware of just how successful they are. I do complimentary consultations those those residing more than 50 miles from my office. You can contact my office to schedule one if you like.
