You are notrecommended to start using Latisse® while you have blepharitis. This is becauseblepharitis restricts eyelash growth, limiting the potential effects ofLatisse®. The product may also further irritate your eyelids. If you’recurrently using Restasis, you should be on track to healthy eyes. Many patientsare able to resolve their blepharitis after about 3 months of Restasis. Ifyou’re still interested in the benefits of Latisse® once your blepharitis hashealed, you can begin use after you speak with your physician.
Latisse is placed on the lash line and not into the eye. Latisse shouldn't cause a problem with your use of Restasis for dry eye symptoms.
Latisse and Restasis are both Allergan products and they do promote them together so they are fine to use. Latisse only goes on the upper lids, not in the eyes, so it should not affect your dryness. Latisse should continue to work as long as you use it regularly. It sounds as if some of your lashes have gotten on the same growth cycle. Perhaps, discontinue use and see if the lashes return. Then, try latisse again. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Latisse should be used once every 24 hours. It should be applied to clean dry skin for best results.
I don't think that's a good idea. You want to be able to precisely control the amount of latisse applied and where. It's best to use the applicator brush that comes in the package or a very fine eyeliner brush but then make sure to clean it thoroughly after each use. Best, Dr. Nazarian
My advise would be to discontinue use until the rash heals. Then, start again. However, if the rash reappears, you could have developed a reaction to the latisse. At that point, consult your dermatologist. Best, Dr. Nazarian
If the price of Latisse had doubled, then I really need to catch up to that. I have kept my prices very close to the same for a long time - meaning since Latisse came out in 2009. The 5 ML Latisse kit launched around August 2012 with a list price of $179 from the very start....
Most likely, yes. Your lashes will grow back. Unless, they've been damaged which can happen with continual false eyelash use. Latisse can help them grow longer and look fuller which might help as they grow back in. For the future, don't ever remove false eyelashes yourself. Best, Dr. Nazarian
