What went wrong with my BA? How soon can I treat veins?

I can’t stop crying. I hate my breast augmentation. The worst part is the blue veins. What can I do to treat them? 10 days post op

you seem to have a nice early result.  the veins will resolve to some extent over time and the breast shape will relax and normalize as well.  do not make any rash deciisons! dr g

Thank you for your question and photographs.  The visibility of veins following breast augmentation is normal.  You are likely quite swollen at 10 days post op.  The appearance of these veins will subside as healing progresses.  Best of luck.

At 10 days post op you are still very swollen and will continue to be for a few months, it is common to have more visible veins after a big implant but will clear up just be patient and continue to follow up with your PS.

Thank you for your question. Augmentations in general take time to heal properly. weeks to months.  Hard as it is, try not to evaluate your final outcome during the immediate postopertive period. Certainly, having veins more visible postoperative is common and can regress soon. Alternatively, with the larger implant the skin can become thin; stretch marks and veins may become more prominent. Thank you for your question.You are only 10 days out from surgery and everything appears to be healing well. The breasts are swollen and tight after surgery, it is common for the veins to become more noticeable.  This should decrease for you over the next few weeks as the swelling continues to go down. Stay patient.

You will still be swollen and it will take a number of months for everything to settle. The veins are likely to improve and you need to wait a number of months to be able to assess the final result.

The blue veins will improve with time.  You are only ten days post op, be patient.  As the tissues relax the veins will become less visible.   You are still swollen and as tissues relax I suspect you will be more satisfied with your results.  Be sure to follow up with your surgeon with your concerns.

It is quite early after your breast augmentation, it will take 3-6 months before you see your final result.  The veins will decrease in appearance over time as your swelling improves.  Congratulations on your recent breast augmentation!

Thank you for your questions and photographs.  It is not uncommon that prominent veins of the breast  become more prominent after surgery.  As the swelling and tightness abate these veins should return to normal.  It may take a few more weeks.  Hope that is helpful.
