My nose tip is more bulbous than it should be. I had a open rhinoplasty 1 year and 5 months ago. I have thick nasal skin, my nasal bones were broken, and there was tip work. When I massage my nose tip, it looks less bulbous. I picked my nose and I believe that might have increased the scar tissue in my nose tip. Should I have a steroid injected directly into it to decrease the scar tissue there? I found a surgeon who can do that. I hope I didn't move cartilage as I picked pretty early.

It takes 12 to 18 months for all the swelling to go away and for all the scar tissue to make sure following a Rhinoplasty procedure. There are probably some things that can be done even this late to try and help improve the nasal appearance. I recommend that you discuss your concerns with your surgeon who can offer some options and guidance. Good luck!
