I am pretty happy overall but I don't like how open the tooth is on the right side by my front tooth. Do you think I should have additional bonding to close it up to match the left side or do you think it looks okay the way it is? Thank you.
Answer: Additional bonding or not ... #DrSoftTouch Your bonding looks very nice. I do see the area that you're talking about, but no one is going to notice that in the real world. A dentist that is scrutinizing your teeth may notice on exam, but that's it. I would not advise returning to have them touched-up, because they look great. The only issue with bonding is that bonding tends to stain very easily, so be very careful with what you eat, drink, or smoke. Also, since you got the bonding on the biting surfaces of your teeth, this makes them much more susceptible to breakage. I would recommend not biting into anything hard or course, like and apple or burger. You should treat them very gently. I always consider bonding on front teeth, a great way to see how veneers would look. Veneers are extremely stain resistant and should last 20-30 years. Good luck and I hope this helps. Answer: My four front teeth have bonding to extend the length. Do they look correct or should I have additional bonding? It appears that you have a great cosmetic dentist who did absolutely fantastic job with your bonding! The edges look great and the length looks right on. It follows your lower lip, called "the smile line" almost perfectly. Without any hesitation your dentist does bonding way better than most dentists. You should be thrilled!Another things is that your dentist "just cannot add" to the existing bonding. He/she would have to remove it all and start out from scratch. By trying to just add to existing bonding you would find that it would not stay very long before breaking off. A dentist can add to freshly placed bonded composite, but a lot of the strength of that bond is lost after a period of time. Again, you should be very pleased and happy with the bonding done by your dentist! I would suggest you don't ask your dentist to make and changes, and instead give him a much earned compliment for doing such a great job.

Answer: Looks pretty good The bonding you have had done looks very good. A good way to judge the length and contour of the teeth is to see if the contour of the incisal edges (biting edges) of all the front upper teeth follow the contour of the lower lip line. Yours appear to very well. As far as I can tell with a photo, your teeth look great.

Answer: Cosmetic Bonding What a beautiful job your doctor has done! In this picture you sent us with just two teeth, in such a close up mode, the bonding looks great. I am not sure what you mean by "how open the tooth is on the right side by my front tooth." If you are talking about the lower space between the lateral tooth where it abuts the front tooth, we call that the incisal embrasure and having them a little different is OK. If anything, I like the picture right and I would open up picture left. That would give a nice balance. Your talented dentist should be able to take care of that if you want. Have fun smiling, lauching, kissign and talking!
