Generally speaking, I never advise patients with grinding issues to get dental bonding.  This is because bonding tends to wear away very easily.  I would recommend porcelain veneers/crowns instead of the dental bonding that is made up of composite.  Good luck and I hope this helps. I would recommend that you reconsider having orthodontic repositioning of your upper and lower front teeth prior to bonding these teeth. You would be able to create a much stronger and more esthetic result that would last for a longer time. It is also possible to finance this treatment with companies such as Care Credit which may make the ideal treatment more affordable. The orthodontic aligners cover your teeth so the chipping would not be noticeable.If you proceed with the Invisalign treatment a night guard might not even be necessary. You would have the bonding first, and mouthguard second because the mouthguard would not fit after the bonding was done.  You could get the mouthguard first if there is going to be a long time before you get the bonding, and then get a second (new) mouthguard after the bonding.

You have to get bondings before fabricating a mouthguard. If you get your mouthguard first, It will not fit in your mouth after having bondins.

You need to do the bonding first or your guard will not fit if you do the bonding after the guard.  The picture you shared is of an underbite and is not what I consider normal, or right.  If you have the bonding done and don't do anything about your bite it will probably chip and break before you want it to.  The guard will help at night, but what about while you are trying to chew?

The preferred order is bonding first and then mouthguard. You can do it in reverse but the mouthguard then needs to be modified to fit the changed shape of the bonded teeth.

Given the photos you provided I would strongly encourage you to consider braces to align the teeth. You can have bonding done on the teeth. This would need to be done before you have a mouth guard made because the mouthguard is custom made to the shape of the teeth and if the mouthguard is made before the teeth are changed then the mouthguard will not fit. However, even with a mouthguard if the bonding is done over teeth that do not have a good bite then you will break the bonding off over time. Even normal chewing would likely cause the bonding to break down just like your natural teeth have broken down.
