Hi there! Typically 2 weeks out you are okay to continue to massage the area if needed without fear of moving the filler around. If a patient has a filler lump or bump, we do recommend prolonged massage to make sure the filler integrates smoothly with your own tissue!

Some lumps after filler treatment is very common. Massaging them can help to smooth them out. If they are quite noticeable and problematic, dissolving them (assuming its hyaluronic acid based) is an option as well.

A quick follow-up with your injector is likely warranted.

Massaging the area can definitively help you with the lumps, but if the lumps persist, you could get hyaluranidase injections on the area to help dissolve the filler and completely solve the lump.

At two weeks from treatment any swelling will have resolved. If you did not massage too aggressively it is unlikely that you negatively impacted your results. If the bump is still present and concerning I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation.
