Hello, I'm inquring about my specific type of under bags. Ive been to several surgeons and medical providers, I have been receiving mixed reviews about the type of bags I have and treatment that is needed. One surgeon says the only thing that will resolve my issue is lower bleth. The other says m not a candidate and fillers would be my best choice. I would rather use a lower bleth procedure as a last resort. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Answer: Under eye bags and filler Hello, and thank you for your question. Under eye bags can be due to lack of sleep, dehydration, volume loss, fat pads, fluid accumulation, genetics, etc. Filler can be a good option to treat under eye bags, or the tear trough, as this will her soften the transition from lid to cheek junction. There are different types of fillers that are recommended to treat certain areas of the face, so that would be determined at a consult with a practitioner. Additionally, cheek filler can also help treating under eye bags if placed in areas of volume loss. It is difficult to determine what type of under eye bags you have from the photo, but if torn between what treatment is best, see a different provider and refer to their recommendations. The one nice thing about filler is if you are unhappy with your results, you can usually dissolve.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Under eye concerns Based on your photos you could consider either a lower blepharoplasty or fillers to improve the area. As you are not interested in surgery, fillers are a great option to start with. Filler treatment is done in the office and some of the improvement is seen right away. The results last approximately one year depending on the filler selected. I've included a video on under eye filler that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Fillers or surgery may be considered for correcting your under eye bag appearance. Based on your photos, you appear to have congenital bulging of your lower eyelid fat pads. You appear to be young without significant wrinkling of your lower eyelid skin. The most direct way to deal with this issue, depending on your examination, would be a transconjunctival lower eyelid blepharoplasty surgery. Incisions are made on the inside of the eyelid and these fat pads are removed permanently. Alternatively, you could consider filling in your lower eyelid grooves for a blended appearance. Since the under eye skin is very thin, Fillers can lead to excessive puffiness so the expertise of your injector is very important. I hope this is helpful! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Type of Under Eye Bags Puffiness under the eyes, often referred to as adipose bags, is a result of the skin of the lower eyelid slackening with the accumulation of suborbital fat. This gradual process can lead to a noticeable bulge under the eyes, giving an appearance of tiredness or aging. On the other hand, watery bags under the eyes are often very noticeable in the morning and fade as the day progresses. These are typically caused by fluid retention and can be influenced by factors like diet, sleep patterns, and alcohol or tobacco use. Fortunately, modern aesthetic medicine offers effective solutions to these concerns. One of the most popular treatments is the use of dermal fillers. These fillers are designed to stimulate collagen production in the skin, which in turn can correct volume loss around the eyes. This can significantly reduce the appearance of bags, dark circles, and fine lines within the treatment area. It's important to remember that every individual is unique, and what works best for one person may not work as well for another. Therefore, it's recommended to consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and explore the best treatment options for you.
