hello pureskinjunkie In general, the complications are the same that can occur with traditional or any other liposuction including: infection, bleeding, swelling, discoloration. However, problems such as rippling and waviness of the skin seem to be less. Theoretical problems specific to Vaser ultrasound can include burns at the skin edge where the cannula is inserted but, an experienced board certified surgeon will use skin guards to protect the area, and like all of these potential problems, they should rarely occur. Vaser, like other liposuction procedures is a generally safe, commonly performed and well liked by my patients, providing excellent long-term results. #options #lipo
No, VASER HI DEF liposuction won't cause lymphedema. With lymphedema, body contouring procedures should be performed very carefully if at all. Body sculpting like liposuction may be more safe for lymphedema patients, if done properly with water-assisted removal. Best, Dr. Emer.

ALL types of liposuction produce this type of injury. Manual massage, Endermologie and noninvasive ultrasound (VASERshape) can improve this swelling.I hope this description was informative.
VASERlipo® works by using targeted ultrasound energy to rupture the fat cells in the treatment area. After the fat cells are destroyed, they're then removed using suction. Once fat cells are eliminated, they cannot grow back. However, this does not mean you can't gain weight back in the future. ...
Yes, it's normal and 8 weeks is too soon for results because recovery varies greatly between patients. Final #results can usually be seen 2-4 months later as the swelling continues to diminish and contours become more defined, but improvement will continue for 4–6 months as swelling and irr...
Foam vests are great in maintaining the shape and decreases the risk of seroma or fluid accumulation after liposuction. Will it ruin the result if you don’t wear it for a few hours at work? It depends. If the amount of liposuction is large or if the fluid accumulates rapidly, then I suggest w...
