My GF had butt implants placed a little over a year ago, subfacially. From day 1, one of the implants outer edges was very prominant. In March, we had the implants removed. The doctor said the implant in the right buttock had partially come out of the pocket and was tearing the pocket - hence the edge being visable. So our plan was to wait for healing then have BBL. But now 2 doctors are saying she MUST have implants placed to fill the old pockets. Is this right? We didnt want implants again!

After 10 weeks I assume all the incisions are closed and healed so it's unlikely that the injected fat has escaped your body. It is normal to have 25-30% of the fat disappear over time. Please follow up with your doctor as these issues require the attention of a plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question. The length of surgery depends on an array of factors, primarily the surgeon's pace as well as the exact procedure tailored to the patient that is being performed. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
Thank you for your question. It is best that you address this directly with your operating surgeon as some suggest arnica, pineapple juice, and a lymphatic massage. All the best, Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
