Before completely abandoning me buttock implants, it would be very helpful to have photographs of your current condition. Most often in these situations the problem is that the implant was not properly positioned within the gluteus muscles and/or it is not the right shape to match the patients buttock muscle/cheek. If this is the case then a revision surgery to remove your current implants and replace them with the proper shape/size implants into the intramuscular pocket may serve you very well. Glad to be of help.
Do you need a full assessment which will include a consultation with either quality pictures or preferably meeting the plastic surgeon in person.I do not recommend removing implants and injecting aqua filler at the same time.In fact I do not recommend aqua filling whatsoever in this area. i’ve seen too many complications and undesirable results with the product spreading to different areas. This filler unlike HA fillers does not get incorporated into the tissues. The pressure of sitting on the area with filler will cause it to dissect into new areas. There’s a good chance your implants are either the wrong size or placed too close to the skin surface.Perhaps revising your implants is a better option. If you need to have them removed you should do so first then let yourself heal and have an augmentation later using fat(BBL)Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
The most definitive and unequivocal method to determine the location of your buttock implants is an MRI. Physcial examination and ultrasound will provide some information but the clear images of the implant and the muscle seen on an MRI provide the most accurate information.
