6 months PO upper eyelid surgery, I have hard knots and the scar is thick. Is there any chance it will heal by itself? In sweden where I live NO ONE wants to inject cortisone in the scar (near eye) i can’t do CO2 laser either (don’t have much skin left) I heard I shouldn’t do micro needling on it either because it’s a hypertrophic scar? I’m doing hard massage with a Gua Sha tool every night trying to break up the hard knots in the scar + low dose of cortisone cream also every day, doesn’t work

Why did you have cosmetic surgery?
Having permanent irreversible facial aesthetic surgery is a bit like getting a tattoo.
You didn’t need either of the procedures to start with.
Have you gone to an experienced ethical provider they would’ve probably told you that.
At this point, I suggest you...
We have not had any of our patients complain about droopy eyelashes after blepharoplasty surgery. When patients eyelashes are droopy, sometimes they consult with our esthetician for a lash lift. Wishing you well. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
