I'm looking into getting the inverted nipple surgery. I did get my nipples pierced a few years ago to try to bring them out, but they are still somewhat inverted. How would my piercings affect my results? Do I just take them out, can I keep them, or are they a complication?

Yes, the lower areola can be raised to better match the opposite areola, or the higher might be lowered some. Please go back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns. Your nipples looked fine.
Those bumps are enlarged Montgomery glands which many could be excised. The excision might interfere with potential breast feeding if you are able to become pregnant. Those bumps are benign.
