I am a 30 year old female, never been pregnant. I am self conscious of the texture of my nipples - are they normal? Is there any form of surgery or treatment to repair them to look smoother / rounder?

It appears on this photo that you are experiencing similar issue like earlobe tear; separation or tear of nipple. Correction is possible, it requires small surgery in local anesthesia. Good luck.

There are numerous techniques to reconstruct the nipple. This is done using local tissue so there will be no need for tattoo. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who performs breast reconstructions after cancer surgery would help. Good luck.

I would have you remove the piercings for surgery. Any foreign object increases the risk of infection. I would also ask you to consider if you’d even want the piercings if your nipples were no longer inverted. If not, it makes it easier to decide to remove them for surgery. At this point, s...
