Day 6 after Vaser Lipo and started to leak, could I have an infection?

I am day 6 post op after vaser Lipo. The garment is giving me terrible back ache and hurting my spine so last night I decided to try and sleep more flat on my back. After drains were removed I’ve been changing my dressings and they have been perfectly clean every day. After last night I have woke up with morning and a incision on the top of my bum is leaking. Do you think this is down to the way I’ve slept or an infection? I’ve been taking antibiotics every day since surgery.

I always answer questions on this site about how much was removed and if it was a "good" amount. This is not important since this number is heavily influenced by how much fluid the surgeon (hopefully a board certified plastic surgeon!!!) placed before starting the Smartlipo. What counts is how...

Hi, thanks for the question.  Yes, you can repeat SL treatment on the same area.  I would wait at least 6 months before considering repeating the treatment.  For many, the need to repeat treatment depends on how much fat you are starting out with and how much fat you can accept...

Sometimes there is hardness that can persist for a year. It usually resolves by 6 months, by I have had the rare patient, who took a year for the lumps to soften. Other than gentle massage and maybe lymphatic drainage etc, i think i would avoid aggressive treatments since they could make it ...
