I'm not sure why you're having difficulty sexually. The anatomic machinery necessary for orgasm is intact after abdominoplasty. The physiologic stress of recovery may have something to do with it but I would expect full recovery in time.

Swelling on and off is to be expected for weeks to months after a tummy tuck. At 8 weeks, the challenge is to wear a garment that is comfortable and effective in supporting you and controlling the swelling. It sounds as though you are on the right track trying different garments. One suggestion...

Preoperative labs and other studies are individualized for each patient.  Healthy patients without any increased medical risks do not typically need preoperative labs.

You don't provide enough information for a valuable opinion. If you had a previous infection in our developing swelling and pain in the pubic area it would be best to check with your surgeon.

The umbilicus appears to have separated from the abdominal skin flap. Some or all of it may have been lost but that's unlikely. The wound will eventually healed but a revision is likely. It's too early to re-suture the umbilical stock at this time.
