you should start seeing the initial results in a week but your skin will keep improving for 2-3 months after procedure. It is better to repeat the laser 1-2 time as well. 

You should give yourself at least two weeks post Halo to start seeing nice changes. It will gradually get better and better as new collagen is formed. Two Halo treatments are preferred the first year. It also depends on how severe your acne is. Deep ice pick scarring may require a little Bellafill or other dermal filler to smooth things out further. 

As you have seen, some of the early changes and improvements with HALO are in the pigmentation. These changes give the wow factor to HALO as they are often dramatic. Scarring, wrinkles and deeper changes often take longer to improve as the collagen remodeling and healing time is on the order of months and, most often, require multiple treatments. Deep, icepick, type acne scarring would not be a true goal with HALO. These usually require alternative treatments.
