Had my treatment done two weeks ago. How should I treat this? Will this improve?
Answer: Prescription Strength Cream Could Help or Clear & Brilliant! This must be frustrating for you. After performing thousands of laser treatments, I know the skin can react differently for each person. However, any laser skin treatment can cause post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Usually post inflammatory hyper pigmentation will gradually resolve, within the first few weeks, over many months, or it may take years. The best treatment for post laser hyperpigmention is a prescription strength topical cream with hydrodrqunone, retininol and a mild steroid along with a bimonthly q-switched 1064 laser at low fluence. We also get good results using The Perméa Clear and Brilliant Laser to improve pigmentation but we avoid lightening creams with retinol when we are using this laser treatment. The most important thing is to go to a doctor with thousands of procedures, so they can access your unique experience and help you get the best results from your current situation. Also, I see you live in Texas, so be sure to use sun-screen and avoid over-exposing your skin to that sun! Thanks for your question! All the Best, Dr. B, Perfect Skin Laser Center, Scottsdale, AZ

Answer: HALO hyperpigmentation Hi, Would love to see pics to get a great idea of what's going on, but I would definitely see your provider and see if you need to have it treated if it is a potential complication.
