I am a 31 year old mother to 3. At 5'2" I was almost 200lbs last year, so through eating right and exercise I got down to 140lbs (still a few to go). I have accepted faded stomach stretchmarks, but my breasts are seriously affecting me. From a combination of pregnancy, nursing and losing weight they are now flat and saggy. Do I have any alternative choices than surgery? I hate that I have come so far and it makes me sad to see myself in the mirror because of it.

Answer: Don't give up! You probably need a lift and there are really no options other than surgery. A lift alone will leave you smaller, but with a better shape. Adding an implant may improve the fullness in the top, but also increases the cost (and risks). Go see some plastic surgeons and get their opinions. Good luck!

Answer: Putting Things Back Where They Belong! First of all, congratulations on your weight loss, well done! As we women know, children NEVER put things back where they found them and this certainly applies to our breasts. More often than not the best alternative is breast surgery, depending on your current breast size, the amount of droop, the condition of your skin and, of course, what you aesthetic goal is. There are several options that can be considered; from breast lift, to a lift with implants or a lift with fat transfer. The best way to decide is to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon and go on a fact finding mission to find the outcome that works best for you!
