What causes lumpy areas in the face after facial fat transfer?

I have a general question about fat transfer. I have been reading reviews and a few people say that have lumpy areas in their face. What causes this? The fat that does not survive? Or improper processing of the fat? I am interested in the procedure because my face has become thin since I lost weight. Thank you, Connie

It is very likely that correction with nano fat grafts (fat stem cells) may be a procedure that will address the issue. You should discuss this option with your surgeon in more details. Good luck.
