So I told my surgeon that I wanted big round super high saline implants with a lot of upper fullness (like I'm wearing a push up bra when I'm naked) and he said the max he could fit on my chest was 460 OF to 525 high profile saline under the muscle. Pre op I couldn't even fill out an a cup. Anyways, I have friends who have saline unders and right after surgery their boobs look really high up to their neck, mine was never high. I can already tell I'm not gonna look like my wish pic :(
Answer: Unreasonable Expectations Hello,Your first mistake was not understanding that there are real limitations to breast augmentation. You were small, with tight skin and a short nipple to fold distance. Your surgeon did you a favor by telling you he would only go so far in terms of size. Trust me, he could have gone much bigger, and the likelihood that you'd have a real problem would be significant. At least you have a pleasing and at least so far, a complication free result.Your second mistake was comparing yourself to what someone else got. Not a good idea. You are different from your friend, and what they got and how their body reacted to it is uniquely theirs, and you cannot expect the same for you. You should know that picking large, high profile, saline implants puts you at the highest risk for complications, reoperation, and deflations. So in making your choice, you essentially signed up for multiple surgeries. The remedy to your aesthetic issue is just bigger implants, which you can do after a sufficient time of healing from your first surgery. At that time, you should consider silicone gel implants. You'll need them because putting in larger implants will definitely thin your tissues to a point where rippling will be almost assured. Best of luck.

Answer: Will my implants get bigger and give me upper pole fullness? Dear Gabby From the photographs it appears that your implants are a good size for your body size and look great. Implants generally dont get bigger or give more upper pole fullness with time. If you choose to go to larger implants, you are likely to have other complications over time. You should talk openly with your surgeon and share your concerns. He or she can help you with your next best step.

Answer: Excellent results at this point in your recovery and if you want to maintain it 'as is', ask your surgeon about whether it would be okay to wear an underwire bra or some other type of support. Breasts will not get larger as its a fixed volume. You do have very nice results and should enjoy your new look, even if not perfectly matched to what you had hoped for.

Answer: Upper pole If some of my patients had your current appearance, most would be complaining of too much upper pole, but that would be their preference, not yours. You do have rather large implants, and they are centered on your nipples and areolas. In the before photos it is clear that your breasts are set lower on the chest wall than is the case for other women. In women with high set breasts, implants this large may well extend up to near the collar bone, but that is not going to be the case in a woman whose breasts are low on the chest to begin with. Even if larger implants were used, if properly positioned they would reach only about half an inch higher. And they would extend well beyond the chest wall toward the arms. Other than the implants not being as high as you might have wanted, the outcome does seem to have achieved large round breasts. All the best.
