5 weeks post-op Veingogh treatment for spider veins, now have red and purple marks on leg. Will they go away? (photos)

Hi, I got Veingogh treatment on my legs 5 weeks ago. The 'cat scratch' scabs have been gone for a couple weeks, but I still have red marks/dots and Purple marks where the veins were, which are more noticeable than the actual veins were.. i have been applying Arnicare (in morning) and SkinMedica scar recovery gel (at night) for last few weeks. I have not seen much improvement. Will these marks go away? Are they hyperpigmentation, or part of the recovery process? Any time frame or advice is appreciated.

Yes these little red marks go away.  We tell patients that at fist they will have tiny little scabs in the area of the veins and then these will gradually fall off and go away over time.  Do not pick at them or scrub them.  They will heal and go away.  I would recommend that you try arnica cream over the area. It acts like an anti-inflammatory to help them go away.
