What procedure would be ideal to fill in my hip dips? (photos)

Question

I'm 18 going on 19 and I'm extremely self-conscious about the dent in my hips. I feel very unfeminine, as my hips curve inward instead of outward, giving me a lumpy figure. When I push my butt up a little, it fills in the dip. I weigh 109 pounds and I'm 4'11". I don't know if a Brazilian butt lift would be viable since I have very little body fat, though I've been making efforts to gain weight. Is there enough fat in my thighs for a transfer, or would implants be a better option?

Fat harvesting and transfer can help this, however, I think this is attractive.  Many females contact me daily to try and get this type of look or improvement. I would wait till you are older and see if this still bothers you.  It appears you have a really nice athletic body many women would die for.  However, you could be evaluated for a fat transfer procedure.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Many women I see in my
practice find your athletic build quite desirable. However, there are also many
patients who want a curvier, hourglass figure, as you do. I believe your hips can
be remedied with conservative fat grafting. Although you said you have little
body fat, you may benefit from an in-person consultation with a board-certified
plastic surgeon who is especially skilled at body sculpting. He or she can
evaluate your body to determine whether you have enough native fat for
successful grafting. Implants are not likely a good option, although this can
only be determined through an in-person appointment. Best of luck!

Definitely against butt implants.  Better solution is to transfer fat from your abdomen or flanks to fill buttocks or indents at hips This is brief procedure.   Sometimes fat needs to be re-injected 1 to  2 years later for more lasting result

Hello and thank you for your question. I believe your hip dip which is present probably to some extent in at least 50% of woman is secondary to fullness in the,upper outer thigh.Liposuction of thisarea may be good enough to take care of the problem.  If you have enough fat available which I don't think you do fat injections at the same time can be done.Peter Fisher M.D.
