What can be done about a nose that dents when I smile? (Photo)

Question

Looking for a surgery that would stop my nose from forming a dent when I smile. It's definitely super prominent when I have a genuine smile (vs. a soft smile).

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from you photos you have hanging columella and ethnic nose. So your nose can be shape with rhinoplasty and alar base plasty. This way you will have more narrow nose, defined tip and your nose will not that droop when you smile. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. Based on your photos, you appear to have a wide and droopy nasal appearance. I can see the indentation in between your tip cartilages when you smile. Depending on your examination, rhinoplasty maybe considered for eliminating this indentation and for providing a narrower and less droopy nasal appearance. If this is something you would consider, please visit with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists who offer computer Imaging so you could see what might be best for you moving forward.
