I'm currently using 4% tretinoin at night, but I also have light skin and dark hair on my upper lip and chin... (and there are also my eyebrows to deal with, but I can go back to just plucking those, I suppose). I don't apply the tretinoin to my eye or mouth area, but last time I waxed those areas it left terrible red marks and irritation. I'm somewhat afraid to use hair removal cream there, although I used to regularly in the past, before the tretinoin.
