I feel like i have a heavy bottom face and very downturned lips (have tried dao botox it does not work for me) will buccal fat removal and lip lift help my heavy bottom face and smile? Im also interested in chin lipo since i am seeming to get a double chin. I am normal weight but hold fat in my chin and cheek area. Looking for surgical options only open to all recommendations. Answer: Evaluating Candidacy for Chin Liposuction, Buccal Fat Removal, and Lip Lift: A Comprehensive Guide Thank you for your question and for sharing your concerns about your facial appearance. Based on your description, here are some insights into the procedures you mentioned: Chin Liposuction: Indication: Chin liposuction is effective for individuals who have excess fat deposits under the chin, commonly referred to as a "double chin." This procedure can help define the jawline and improve facial contours. Consideration: Since you are of normal weight but have localized fat in the chin area, you might be a good candidate for this procedure. It can provide a more sculpted and defined chin and jawline. Buccal Fat Removal: Indication: Buccal fat removal targets the fat pads in the lower cheeks, which can contribute to a "heavy" or rounded appearance in the lower face. Consideration: If your goal is to achieve a more contoured and slimmer lower face, buccal fat removal might be beneficial. It's important to consult with a facial plastic surgeon to ensure this procedure aligns with your aesthetic goals. Lip Lift: Indication: A lip lift is designed to shorten the distance between the upper lip and the nose, enhancing the visibility of the upper teeth and creating a more youthful and uplifted appearance. Consideration: If you have downturned lips and desire a more permanent solution compared to Botox, a lip lift could be a suitable option. This procedure can help in achieving a more balanced and aesthetically pleasing smile. Recommendations: Given your concerns and desire for surgical options, here are a few steps to consider: Consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon: An in-person evaluation is crucial. The surgeon can assess your facial anatomy, discuss your goals, and recommend the most appropriate procedures. They can also provide a detailed explanation of the potential outcomes, risks, and recovery process. Combination Approach: Sometimes, a combination of procedures can provide the best results. For instance, chin liposuction combined with buccal fat removal might enhance the overall contour of your lower face. A lip lift can complement these procedures by improving the appearance of your smile. Realistic Expectations: It’s important to have realistic expectations and understand that while these procedures can significantly enhance your appearance, they may not entirely transform your facial structure. I hope this information helps you in making an informed decision. Best of luck with your aesthetic journey! Best regards,

Answer: Lip lift and facial lipo You may be a candidate for a lip lift procedure depending on the measured distance between your lip and nose. Lower face and jawline and chin liposuction would improve the definition and contour of your lower face and neck.

Answer: Tough call! From a technical standpoint, you may meet the criteria for buccal fat removal and lip lift surgery. I am not a fan of either of these procedures, especially in young women. You may wish to consider Necklipo section along with a small chin implant. The lower 1/3 of your face, namely your chin, is pointy and is a bit short on front view. Depending on your examination, adding some volume to your chin may help to balance what is above on front vew. Chin augmentation and neck liposuction have a more profound effect on somebody's jawline definition, as compared to liposuction alone. Thank you for your question and I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Answer: Chin liposuction First, let me ask you how old you are? From the photos, you look very young and it is possible that the Bichat pads will slim down on their own over time. A procedure that is worth considering at the beginning is chin liposuction - it will make the lower part of the face much lighter. Later, you can consider other procedures such as lifting threads or Bichat pad reduction. All procedures can be performed under local anaesthesia, so it is better to spread it out over a series than to do everything at once.
