The solution to your problem may be either a chin implant or a sliding genioplasty.  There is a small potential you might need a larger operation called a BSSO.  All of these will change your chin, only the BSSO (if needed, and would require ortho again) would alter bite.  With large chin from implant or genioplasty, your lips will change in a favorable fashion, even if only subtly.  Either way, the first step in an exam.  Bottom line, there is a surgery which can improve your condition, we just need to decide what it is.

Augmentation of your chin with an implant could certainly give you a stronger chin, but it would not change the issues with your bite.
