Can a chin implant add vertical height to my chin? (Photo)

I fear my chin lacks vertical height and would be greatly improved by a modest adjustment of some 4-5mm vertical height. To look more masculine, as I feel my jawline looks feminine Is this possible with a chin implant? Pics attached

A CT of the chin would help determine the height and placement of the chin implant. In some cases, it can be re-positioned.

At this point, I would recommend that you get a CT of the implant to ascertain that it has not migrated. Intermittent pain following an implant placement is very uncommon. The CT will show the position of the implant and whether it is close to the mental nerve.

In cases that require significant forward advancement of the chin (greater than 7 mm), I prefer the sliding genioplasty. In cases requiring 5-6 mm, a chin implant works well. In the photos, it appears that you will need an advancement of 9-10 mm or more. In some cases, I will perform the...
