Hi Trauma2, Yes, it is possible to have these procedures performed concurrently (umbilical hernia repair & mini-abdominoplasty) as long as the umbilical hernia is relatively small. Large umbilical hernias would be potentially challenging to repair through a smaller 'mini' tummy tuck approach. Muscle repairs may be performed during a mini-abdominoplasty, however, if you have significant rectus diastasis above the umbilicus, a mini-abdominoplasty would not allow this to be repaired.
