Hernia Repair with Tummy Tuck? (Photo)

Question

I developed an incisional hernia 1.5 years after sleeve surgery. Defect 2.4 cm 7.3 x 4.1 x 5.2. I have lose hanging abdominal skin. I’m afraid after H surgery my belly will be uneven -a hot mess. Is it advisable/possible to have the hernia repaired by a plastic surgeon and do a TT at the same time?

Dear JanieHTx, Thanks for sharing  your questions and pictures, of couse we can repare it at the same time previous surgery we have to perform imaging studios to locate the hernia and then work over it. Ater evaluate your case you look like a perfect candidate for Vaser Liposuction (to improve your skin retraction), Tummy Tuck with Muscle repair (Ultrasound Guided BBL to be discuss after better pictures or in person consultation). Based on your post of photos, I would do a combination of ventral hernia repair with a general surgeon and at the same time have a Plastic Surgeon in attendance to do the extended full tuck with muscle repair. It would be a combination procedure done as an outpatient in hospital or outpatient overnight in the hospital. Expect fee from the Plastic surgery side to be $10,000-$20,000.
